Yellow has a green fade threshold of 400°C (750°F) — the temperature at which the pad fully cures its resins for higher-temperature use – which is the maximum expected temperature in fast street driving.
 
In short: Yellow is perfect for confident road driving on any vehicle at any speed. However, track conditions can push brake temperatures above 500–600°C (1100°F). For those situations, our Bluestuff pads (a fast street and track combination) or our RP and SR series pads are the better choice.
